Ther are times when I certainly wish I was driving an old Land Rover with big home made bumpers !!

My bumpers were homemade from 3" angle iron, may not have been pedestrian friendly but perfect for the off road competing I used to do

I saw it and one of the later cash crashes involving a lone female was being passed to the insurance fraud department

I would have thought a limit for whiplash compensation to a small fixed payment - and anything further requires evidence (loss of earnings etc.).

Not necessarily a good indicator.
Some people may feel compelled to continue working, or be able to work on restricted duties/short hours, from home.
If loss of earnings or working time was the only indicator then the scammers would just take a load of time off (from their non existent jobs) and claim even more.

I was witness to a collision a few days ago and offered to be a witness. I have already received and filled in a questionnaire from one insurance company.
Two of the questions focus on the number of occupants and their apparent injuries at the scene, another asks for a detailed description of the driver of the 3rd party vehicle.

This is obviously to try to stop fraudulent claims.

A policeman friend of mine attended one of these "Bash for Cash" incidents. The (single) occupant was feigning paralysis at which point my PC friend said to his partner.

"Oh my God! Look the cars caught fire!" on which the "paralyzed" man jumped out like a gazelle to escape the "flames".

Shame they didn't get that on video.

makes me puke, i nearly got wasted the other week, see my post, as of today ive got Post Traumatic vertigo, i keep going giddy and falling over, its driving me mental, dont know how long it may last, im worried about being able to live normally again, and these c*nts worry how big a payout they can scam
