Never been a fan of black boy racer wheels but your picture has made me think differently another vote for the black as they look great

Black only suits some vehicles, on some it even looks tacky.

In your case, I think it suits the E63s very well and is better than the silver

I have just shown the misses the 2 pictures as she only judges a car on looks. Make/model/power etc are all irrelevant to her. If she says "it has to be that blue" then that is what she will get.

Her opinion was surprising to me. She thinks the black look best, as all the rest of the car looks black, although would not look right without the silver "rings"
Like the above, she also thinks it would look more "tacky" with all silver.

Oh, and when I asked what car she thought it was she said VW?....lol

Black paint looks best with the black bodywork for me John,silver is just too boring now.

Maybe a gunmetal grey too.

Depends on the colour of the car, but I generally prefer silver. White car with black wheels has been really over done though.

Silver gets my vote as I prefer some contrast to the main body colour. that said your car looks a lot better in the flesh than the config picture.

A week later and thanks for all the replies/votes cast .

I've decided to stick with the black for the time being at least.

The main reason is that (as you may have gathered with my inputs to various badge vs debadge threads ) I like a shouty muscle car - AMG loud and proud.

I find that the black wheels complete the theme of the car, matching well with the privacy glass and black interior - a sort of 4 wheeled axe murderer look if you like, whereas the silver wheels make it just another E Class until you look more closely - a problem with many AMG's IMO, unlike RS Audis.

I'll grow up one day, just not yet.

With my cars I'm the reverse of my pal Dave (keep em guessing) enty .

In six months time I may think differently - who knows .

Black for me in these photo's looks better. No problem generally with the silver adding contrast, but with these wheels black hands down.
