Pollen Filter R171

Hi guys,

Im suspecting a stale pollen filter causing the smell in my car air vents at the moment- any clue where it is in a R171 and how to change?

Sorry cant find 171 in russian site pic below is 170 model must be similiar ish? item 300.

Wifes w203 has filter under bonnet passengers side by air intake, mine had 2 behind the glovebox and another 2 under the dash.

Air Conditioning cleaner

Hi there.....be careful because air conditioning systems in vehicles can harbour viruses and bacteria...no doubt that is the cause of your smell.

You need to purchase a Air Con sanitizer/cleaner ...seal the car, let it off in the vehicle...usually takes around 15 minutes to circulate and kill all the bugs.

These cost about £7.00 / $11 and are readily available from most auto supply shops...follow the instructions on the Can.
