Yes. Pull the pressure cable nipple off the ball on the throttle cable and it should just sit aligned ready to go back on. It shouldn't be either longer or shorter.

Would it be apparent all the time that something was wrong ? or just when under a heavy load ( Devon and Cornwall hills) , as i have never noticed it around Londinium .....

Normally i borrow the 430 or the C55 for these little jaunts but neither were available , so i had to take mine. I guess this is why i only noticed it a couple of times in 3 years ...
