Hi, if Nick Mercedes is reading this message ,as is online at the moment .i have sent 2 or 3 messages regarding a sensor I have bought online and would appreciate an answer if it is posted or if there is a problem with payment.You have no phone number so I cannot call you and I have sent messages with no replies. Its now about a week and no news.I paid with mastercard . Please contact me on [email protected] asap to put my mind at rest or correct any order problems .

I've bought from Nick in the past and always had good service from him.

I'm sure he will be along soon to help you.

Along with other members, I too have saved £££'s thanks to Nick. Im sure he will resolve your issue.

You need to pay some postage to get it to Spain - it's not going to get there for nothing or make it's own way there.

I told you how much shipping to Spain would be in reply to your first email.

Appreciate fully all of the comments and views shared in this thread, but the common theme is one of inconsistent service. Great guy or not (and I am sure he is) this is generally how businesses fail as its hard to build trust and customer loyalty, without a consistent approach to dealing with customers.

As a businessman myself its been clear that most problems even lack of stock can be alleviated by providing good communications with customers.
 
Nick at Euromerc - you're doing yourself a great dis-service. You really need to sharpen up your act pal. I'd rather pay MB dealer prices than order from you ever again. No need though as it was a real pleasure buying parts recently from DRONSFIELDS.
 
Experience tells me to be wary of negative comments from single-post members
 
Especially those who think Dronsfields offer a great service.
 
The alternative supplier mentioned have also had their fair share of adverse comments on more than one forum .

I have never met Nick in person but I have bought on more than one occasion from him. On both occasions I have had good communication and good service. I would buy from him again certainly.

And I'm especially wary of single post members who visit the forum for a couple of minutes, to resurrect an old thread, then go away again.

And to add that I ordered a part for my car at 11.30am and received it the very next day.

I defy any firm to better that.

I remember they took over a month to refund me for parts they hadnt actually sent out last year when I had the coupe repainted!:eek:

I had to make half a dozen calls to "Richard" and it was eventually sorted out.

Also, I had ordered a facelift W124 Saloon bootlid for my old 300-E-24 and had clearly stated that it was for a saloon.

They ended up sending me a red COUPE bootlid!:crazy:
