Problem with Nick Mercedes Euromerc delivery

Especially those who think Dronsfields offer a great service.

Sent me damaged and incorrect parts, took forever and lots of chase up calls to get my refund. A purchasing experience I will be in no hurry to repeat....

I have to use dronsfields once in a while and like has been said, they are very hit and miss.. sometimes the part arrives but more than likely you will have to chase it.

+1 for what Meldrew2 said.

And to add that I ordered a part for my car at 11.30am and received it the very next day.

I defy any firm to better that.

Me too - there was delay with my order, but I contacted Nick it turns out that my Google account had a US delivery address associated with it and Nick was concerned that it was hacked by someone. Turns out that I last ordered a bargain router from Buy.com to be delivered to a family member in the US and I forgot to reset it to my UK address.

Once explained Nick rushed out the order which arrived immediately after the weekend. Great prices and even better with free shipping! Well done Nick - will definately shop with Euromerc again.

I've also used Nick before and def would again....anyone that does as much business as him can't get it right all the time though...but im sure we're only getting one side of the story in some comments.

I have used Nick twice and had superb service both times, the second time he delivered the parts personally to the house I was working at the day after I ordered them.

I've also bought an ECU for my W124 220E from Nick and had a very good Service. He quickly found out the shipping to Portugal and received the item in about 5 days.

Nick, thanks again for your time and patience.

I've already posted in another thread to try to get in touch with him. I ordered (and paid for!) a set of cashmere mats for my new CLS 3 weeks ago, I'm just writing my 4th mail to him to find out what is going on, no progress on the website, no communication back from him (although he was quick enough to respond when I had a question before ordering), no contact details and no option to cancel an order. Very frustrating and very disappointing. The carpets are starting to get mucky and if its not resolved the cleaning cost will be greater than the saving on the mats. I'd much rather support a business like his than use a dealer but if they are this unreliable you go elsewhere and pay extra for decent service.

Why is this your first post an attack on someone's business? Also your first line states you have already posted but looking at your avatar and below this is your first post -- so where did you post...

Either he posted on another forum or is just one of them.

I have been on the other end of a knocking thread and believe me when I say it does not do anyone any good. Nick I know is a busy person, travelling many miles a week so why not show a little tollerance and keep our dirty washing (if we have any) to ourselves.

He did post on another forum, he says this in his first line. I doubt he'll be back!

No , he says he posted in another thread , not another forum ...

If you click on his user name , and then 'find other posts by this member' , you'll see he hasn't ... ( as of when i posted this at 17.33 ;) )

Oops sorry. Though I suspect he meant forum. Anyway, I don't agree with his type of post.

Ian - this isn't a knocking thread -- it's some (insert appropriate word) just being a (insert here too) and causing strife. I think most people here have recognised that and are annoyed, like you, that it's happened.

first Euromerc experience and probably last too

I ordered ML mudflaps from Euromerc on 1 Aug and they charged my Mastercard on 3 August (quick), BUT
- no status email
- no replies to any of my emails
- no delivery to date (5 Sep)
- I paid 5 pounds for shipping to France

Great service Nick :(

I do need more than the UK shipping amount to get parts overseas, sorry, but it costs quite alot more for me to ship abroad.

I've refunded and cancelled the order, you're welcome to order again, but I do need to charge extra shipping to overseas customers.

I wonder if all these 1 thread new members have same IP address.

It's nothing untoward, mat man does exist, although I've not charged him or had 4 emails, perhaps they've gone adrift?

Trouble is at the moment business has grown to the stage where I need some staff, but it finding the right person/people, and doing enough extra to cover their wages/tax/insurance is daunting...

Plus what you see on the website is only about a 10th of what's here, so add in stock control nightmares and always being out somewhere in a van.
