I am having serious problem trying to install my new MB-2 drivers onto my Windows Vista. When I connect the USB connector to my laptop instructions state that after I press the button on the MB-2 to activate it then i should see a "Found New Hardware" message box on my screen. However this is not appearing? Anyone had similar problems or know a solution?

Got another pc to try it on?

Got another laptop with Window 7 but Upgrade Instruction booklet states i will need Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista with USB 2.0 support.

Hi

Same issue. I have tried everything but cannot get it to work. I also cannot get the Bluetooth part working I get a Bluetooth core error message.

Tried two different PC's.
De/re-install the software.
Talking nicely to to the PC & the MB-2
Talking dirty to both and the wife.

I give up.

Dont know if this will be of help to any of you

You’ll have 2 cables in the box that you use for updating (a Bluetooth one that looks like a USB to micro USB connection, and a CPU one that has a multi-pronged end to it). Also all the software is stored on the X drive at X:\RPT\Viseeo\MB2

1. Install the upgrade platform (VisseoSetup.exe)
2. Install the CPU cable driver (either PL2303_Prolific_Vista_332102.exe or PL2303-Driver_XP2K_v204102.exe)
3. Connect up the micro USB connection on the Viseeo to your computer using the cable provided
4. Press and hold the top button (Pairing button) for 6 seconds and the top 2 lights should start flashing and your computer will start looking for the firmware
5. You want to use the advanced option to browse manually for this driver which will be at C:\Program Files\Triamp\Upgrade\drivers

Depending on the setup of the computer you may need to go into Control Panel > System > Device Manager and then install the driver from in there. It should appear on your computer in the others section with an exclamation mark next to it, so just right click on it and then select update driver.

6. Load up the Upgrade Platform and select Bluetooth as the option and click next
7. Click the Search button in the top right of the window and it should find Viseeo
8. Click the local button and then browse to Bluetooth_firmware_dfu_bc5_tts_v2140_011.usb and click ok
9. Click burn and the unit should update (Should take about 2 minutes to update)
10. Once completed, remove the connection from the viseeo and click cancel on the screen

Updating the CPU
1. Connect up the Viseeo using the other cable (Connects up to the back of the unit underneath one of the rubber plugs)
2. Load the upgrade platform
3. Select CPU and click next
4. Click Search (Probably nothing will happen but do this anyway)
5. Click the local button and browse to Benz_uhi_w204_bc5_026.bin and click ok
6. Click burn and the unit should update (Should take about 30 secs)
7. Once completed, remove the connection from the viseeo and click cancel on the screen

Once this is done we need to do a master reset on the units. To do this, connect the unit up to the nokia charger in the testing room. Then press the sync button (2nd one down with the arrows on it) for 7 seconds. After seven seconds, whilst still holding the button, press the bottom button (reset button) and release both of them at the same time. The lights should go solid for a second and then will start flashing.

I'm having similar issues with Windows 10.
I'm stuck getting the device recognised at the USB connection. It does not show in device manager.

Any one else seen this and solved it?

Thanks.

Forgive me for asking, but why are you trying to install Viseeo MB-2 files on a computer?

If its anything like my MB-3000 unit, take it out the box, plug it in the car connector in the centre compartment, activate bluetooth on both the Viseeo and your phone to pair them and you are good to go.
Make sure your contacts are on the phone sim car and they will be transferred to your Comand unit.

I'm unsure why there is a need to put any Viseeo drivers on the computer:dk:

He must be trying to update the firmware or something.
I'm with you though, many years ago I had to get a Visseo adapter for a CLK55, and i just did as you described

ShaunB, that's it exactly. I've just picked up the car with the MB-2 unit installed. It pairs like a dream but the incoming volume is so low to be unusable, even when stationary.
My reading was to use the PC and USB port to verify firmware, but the port appears dead as tested on a couple of Win 10PC's with a proven cable.
I'm still at this point but somewhere I've read how to get a readout of the firmware version so I'll try that to see if it's up to date. Then if it's not I'll buy the firmware update lead. That may fix the USB connection issue.
Thanks you two for assisting, we can't have technology get the upper hand or it's SkyNet for us all!

No, the firmware is the latest and I’ve done a hard reset yet we still have negligible volume.

I don’t know if it is a further indication of what may be wrong, but the iPhone phone contacts do not sync with the car and when connected to the pc via USB the computer doesn’t recognise a device, despite it providing power.

Does the manufacturer offer support, paid or otherwise, as I’d like this facility to work?

I have same problem. Bought a W211 with MB2 fitted. pairs easily, but volume stuck at 50% on my Samsung S20 5G and neither phone nor car volume controls work when connected. I've submitted a support ticket to Viseeo today, and will keep you posted.

Hi starship and welcome along . The post you are replying to is from September 2019 with just 3 posts and the thread itself is 10 years old. BUT please do come back to us with your findings. I had Viseoo once and also had problems , never used it.

Hi
Thanks for the welcome. Viseeo came back and said that MB-2 is so old its no longer supported, so at least I know not to waste any more time trying to find a fix. Now to find the leak in the air con . . . . . !

We offer a firmware fix for this.
