problems with original Merc Vito hands free kit

Hi

I have a Merc Vito Dual Liner Sport 59 plate and it is fitted with the Merc bluetooth hands free kit which works through the stereo system.


I am having major problems with the sound quality when using the phone, espescially when I am doing 70+ MPH,

Problems are:


1.People complain they cannot hear me, saying "it sounds like I am in a wind tunnel"

Is there any way this can be improved do you know?, not worried about the cost, its a company lease so they should pay to put it right...

2.I often cannot hear the caller through the speakers, even though the volume is turned up to it's max, can that be turned up by an official Merc dealer??

What's the sound system?

The Mercedes Bluetooth HFP cradle will not work in cars with the old CD based COMAND system, or Audio-30, Audio-30-APS, Audio 10-CD or Audio-10 Casette because you get echo on the system.

Alternatively as you've got an all M-B setup and the vehicle is under warranty, a dealer may be able to help.

I'm quite interested in this as I'm looking to change from a cradle to bluetooth in our Vito shortly (also with factory pre-wiring).
