Definitely a keeper, for how long who knows. I certainly don't have any plans to be doing anything apart from enjoying it and finishing it off.

Very nice work indeed, well worth the wait. I noticed you went with the matching orange side repeaters too but for a pre facelift ? If you need the facelift rounded orange ones the part number is A 210 820 04 21.
Thank you for that. I didn't realise they did facelift orange ones! I thought the facelift were all clear/white. Thank you though, I have ordered a set!

Final stage polish completed and new boot badge fitted. Still undecided whether to replace the other boot badges! Number plates are being removed and replaced with non badged ones! Also front plinth is going to be reinstalled. Plates were stuck on just for the MOT.
Just need to get the replacement tyres fitted to the 18s and get them fitted, look so much better than the 17s.

I disagree, it would be a shame NOT to use it. Cars like this need to be driven and seen out and about...weather permitting, obviously

As long as it meets the criteria, it will definitely be getting driven
However, it would be nice to be able to keep it wrapped up in cotton wool in a climate controlled environment 
I would like to think it has got to be one of the better ones out there now, as bold as that statement may sound

Cheers Jules. I see where you are coming from re the lens, they are OEM MB ones (of course) not entirely sure if they do them in other shades of orange.
I may even change back to the white/clear lens that should be on. Time will tell

It’s a minor detail but I quite like the US ones as a compromise. Great thread and love reading about owner builds.
