I Loewe Old Skool AMG
I'm thinking of changing my AMG steering wheel for a charbon fibre version.
I guess it's difficult to find new CF steering wheels for an old w202?

Brabus had a nice one long time ago, I believe it's OOS nowadays?
So does MB still have any of these cool steering wheels today?
Black leather/ Charbon fibre 380 mm sized steering wheel that fits C43 airbag and the steering wheel cover.

If I ask dealership, they know jack crap about parts numbers?
So how do I look and find one of these items?
I äm browsing ebay but it's difficult to find these rare items.

Very rare item. I have one on my C43.

Dealers won't have them. Expect to pay £500 upwards for one if you can find one.

I have no idea of the part number. My car is still at MB having the roof lining done. When (if) i get it back I will take a pic.

you still waiting for your car?
daem man!
must be very tortering waiting for that phonecall, your car is ready sir.
I feel sorry for you having to wait for that AMG.

Does it spell MB incompetence when it comes to special jobs like re-newing the headliner?

If you remember when you get your car back please take some nice snapshots of your interior and the steering wheel.
I wish you the best,
you might get it back just before christmas? :thumb:

This seller doesn't seem to sell OEM parts?
there are several Taiwanese MB steering wheels on fleabay, I don't wanna put such MB wannabe parts on my car.
It doesn't feel right.

But hey, thanks for the info though.:thumb:

They are genuine MB wheels, recovered in the options you want. The wheels have MB part numbers.

Give them a call!

You are now officially reminded Sir to take some cool pictures of your interior and the CF steering wheel.
Take good quality close up pictures of the steering wheel so I can see the colour of the CF and the leather.
What colour is it on your CF steering wheel, black/brownish/bluish/greyish?
Does it match your fake CF trim from MB?
Thanx

I will when my GF comes back from holiday with my camera.

you gonna make your bird pose like a real model sitting in that C43? :bannana:
I can't wait to see your CF steering wheel!
Is it the same size as factory supplied C43 steering wheel 380mm?
Thanx

I had the very same carbon\grey steering wheel and got it recovered in black leather, the trimmer also recovered all the plastic bits in leather and done a really good job, i had a few threads on it a few years back do a search with my name as threadstarter and carbon in the title (i cant post links from this machine)

Hi Alps, ole chap.
That grey CF steering wheel from euroMB shop with grey leather, if it's been re-dyed with black color, will the new color stay in place and not rub off or peel off?

The hard plastic parts on the rear side does it stay black after re-coloring?
Strange they were only offered in grey color?

Hi dude,

yep looked like the same one, look on german ebay first, i got mine from there, cheaper than that one. Mine wasnt dye`d it was re-covered , it was a very good job, proper stitching and nice leather, i must have had it on the car for about 6 mnths before i took it off and sold it. They did make it in black but it was alot rarer and probably alot more to buy.

good luck!
