Quality brake discs

But during the process of my rear getting torn to pieces, wont it slow me down? and if you think of my buttox being the pads then it'll cause more friction to slow me down? And wont the discs/pads wear more evenly and at a slower rate than solid discs?

or am i just being stupid!?

I noticed though, that the new discs i bought also had a bigger vent gap in between... guessing thats another heat dissipation factor +, right?

Did you have a read of the link I posted? I think it explains it quite well..

P.S. watch out for those lightened discs, with the bigger air gap. There is a reason OEMs are the way they are. Admittedly there is usually a fair degree of safety margin in the OEM discs..
