Question for COMAND gurus...

I had an hour to 'burn' today waiting in the car, so I decided to have a poke at the hidden menu (as one does...)

I noticed loads of pages relating to 'Error History' (84 pages) and 'Detected Trouble Codes' (36 pages), see below.

COMAND, however, works fine, no problem in sight.

Any ideas?

As they say on the radio... 'Chances are it's probably nothing... but what if it isn't'?

Hi

You do get a few hard errors (which have no effect) on retrofitted systems, one is a microphone error if you didn;t have phone before (as now there is only 1 mic, not 2), and the other is an antenna error as the antennas are slightly different between older and newer cars.

Also, COMAND internally logs loads of information - most of the info never even shows up in Star Diagnosis error log, and of course there is no translation as to what the log really means ...

So, unless you have any issues - I wouldnt worry.
