Question on C63 MCT driving mode

I was reading the manual for the car the other week and it mentioned that the driving mode should only be switched when stationary!
Is there any truth to this? It would be ridiculous if this was true.
I certainly didn't stop when changing the driving modes prior to reading this in the manual.

Even on the pre facelift models it advised not to switch driving modes while on the move. Me and hundreds of other people have ignored this and I've never heard of any problems. It's an electronic switch mode so I can't see how it would benefit by not doing it on the move. A mechanical method yes but not in our case.

I once changed from comfort to Manual whilst slowing down from about 20 mph and the car stalled!! I panicked a little as i had only had the car about a week and couldnt start it as i was still in drive on the gearbox, since then i have only changed at speed or stationary so it cant stall. This is the first i have heard about changing mode whilst stationary.

The AMG button will switch modes and is used on the move when you spot that M3 .

I swap modes all the time whilst driving - I wouldn't worry about it at all.
