Just wanted to know specifically what this bumper is, is it an early AMG bumper?

Is there anywhere I can just get the bottom splitter part seperately?

Thanks in advance

Guessing it will be hard to get hold of, just smashed mine to pieces.

Thats not AMG, im sure Talbir will identify but probably a Zender or something.

Zenders did not have fogs, well not that I know of.I`m sure that`s a Lorinser bumper

Keep all the pieces, a decent bodyshop will be able to fix it.

There's a lot of pieces, but will go see a bodyshop tommorrow see what they can do. The right bottom corner is literally all missing and in little pieces!

Had a search for a pic of a lorinser bumper but can't find anything decent to compare.

here's a side shot which might help

Yes definately lorinser, just looked at pics of my first SEC and its identical.

Keep an eye on ebay.de

A hallmark of Lorinser bumper spoilers is this - they ALL have SEC fog lamp cut-outs with SEC fog lamps fitted, across all models...w201/w124/w140 and of course w126, right upto 1995.

Lorinser front bumper spoilers are also usually always one piece - note how the SEC bumper above is one single piece and flares out quite strongly on the corners. Quite the reverse of a stock SEC bumper.

Lorinser styling in my opinion is just superb - i didn't realise how good it was until i got my Lorinser w140 (which has the Brabus 6.9 drivetrain).

thanks

Thanks for the help guys much appreciated! :)

Took the car to show a bodyshop to see if he could anything and said no straight away so going try another place to see if they can do anything.

If anyone knows of any of these for sale please let me know, as it seems like this bumper cannot be repaired

Keep the old bits anyway, just in case you only find another damaged one, so you can make a good one out of the two!!;)

I would suggest keeping an eye out on ebay.de Google Translate

in the Auto & Motorrad: Teile section type in Lorinser and W126

THIS GUY IN GLASGOW WAS SELLING BITS IN 2009! RARE W126 SEC LORINSER BODYKIT FOR 380 / 420 /500 / AND 560's ! - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

I see Jay already suggested ebay.de

this company in the states seems to be offering a replica AMG spoiler fairly cheap altho you would take a hit on the shipping I guess? Car and truck body kits & parts for mx3, s10, SUV, civic, neon, focus, etc.

Thanks for the help, i've already contacted that guy selling those bits, said he sold the whole car to someone in europe about a year ago!

Yeah keeping an eye on ebay.de apparently Lorinser are getting rid of their old stock on ebay.de so might be in luck!

Already set up favourite search so will be notified straight away and I understand German quite well so can navigate my way round quite easily :thumb:

Definately keeping all the bits! maybe see what I can do myself with a bit of fibreglass.

Might possibly be in luck, I contacted Lorinser directly and they said it won't be a problem making another one up for me! So hopefully I'll have a new bumper soon :)

blimey, id be interested to know how much... I think the Lorinser kit is the best for series 1 cars.
