Hi all,
My SL500 R129 has just developed the classic window issue on the drivers side. When I shut the door, the window raises up as it should, but usually then decides to move down a few mill, up again, down, up, before choosing either option. It seems to end up in the slightly lowered position, just clear of the frame.
I've tried re synching the windows, but this doesn't appear to work. The one touch down feature works, but it doesn't fully raise most of the time. If I open the door and slam shut, it then raises into the frame fully, but often then jiggles about and comes down.
I'm left with a car that isn't fully water tight now. I've also tried lowering and raising the roll bar fully. I've yet to try the roof, just in case it is affected, but no red lights flashing, so i doubt it.
Any ideas? Is it a door shut issue, or should I get it plugged in and checked.
More annoying than anything else due to the wind noise at speed
