Hi All.

Bit of a funny one this, haven't operated the roof for a few weeks, and come to do it today and the roof will not move at all.
When you operate the switch not a thing happens. No noise from the hydraulics, no red light (flashing or otherwise) on the switch either.
Also the normal double click of the switch in either direction to make both windows go up or down in unison, doesn't work.

To me it is either a relay, fuse or (most likely I think) the interior switch itself.

I cannot find the relay or the fuse, so as yet haven't checked them.

The roof operated flawlessly until I tried it today. Don't think it is a mechanical problem, as there is no sounds no lights, nothing. :(

I don't know if this is related either, but bizarrely, the indicators don't appear to be operating as normal either. They seem to flash quicker, almost like a bulb is gone, but they are all working.

I might be going mad on that point, but it is strange I notice both these things at the same time. :p

All other electrics etc are working perfectly.

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas or things to try/tips re the roof problem, I am eager to hear them.

Thanks in advance all,
Dan.

I'd start with the fuse as you are not getting anything from the switch. Then if the fuse is OK move onto the switch:(

Hi Pammy.
Yeah, reckon so. :)

Any idea where the controlling relay is?

Cheers,
Dan.

Hi.
Turns out it was fuse no 7! It hadn't blown where you would expect it to, so at a glance, it looked intact.

Anyway, it is sorted now. :)

Cheers.
