Radio/CD Changer/ phone cradle

My E220CDI Estate, purchased Dec 2008, is about to go in for the third time to try to cure the intermittent failure of the boot up of the system. Sometimes the radio takes 30 sec to give sound, sometimes the CDC will not connect and sometimes the phone does not come on ( I keep a Nokia 6100 permanently installed in the cradle). Does anyone have any advice for my dealer?

Presume you mean Dec 2007?

My advice would be to say to the dealer, keep it until its fixed!

if its intermittant, it can be hard to diagnose unless it happen all the time then you could show the dealer when you take it in and asked for a courtesy car while its being mended. electrical niggles are very frustrating and least you would expect from a brand like mercedes, however our cars are loaded with whole host of gadgets these days and i suppose bit of perserverence is required when they go wrong.
