Hope you like them ... will put some with the roof down in the coming days :)

If you have a w124 cabrio, or other variant, would love to see your photos :)

Double post.

Anyway your car looks very nice.

cheers Jazz.

had to re-post as i could not find the images after i listed it

Would love to drive the car up to Scotland some time, but would prob bring it up on a trailer and then use it up in the scenic spots..

I love the car, but i hate putting on mileage.. it still stands shy of 27k.. every mile counts.. hence im looking at buying a high mileage variant to use more often as it is still the best car i have ever owned.

nice

looks better when washed

id like one but im not overly happy that the roof is not totally automatic and still needs 2 handles locking into place

Trailer to Scotland.

Im sorry cars are meant to be driven, 27k miles so what putting another few hundred miles on it.

Enjoy the car for what it is, not a museum piece.

Do a search in the Gallery section. You'll find a fair few in there, including my recently sold coupe :(

It looks so at home parked on that London street. The line up quite typical IMO.

For a car used so little I was expecting cleaner!
Keeping miles low is one thing, but then again for it's age it is ultra low so unless you are looking to sell in the very short term, a round trip to Scotland isn't going to hurt. It's a fine line between owning a good as new condition w124 cab and wasting your ownership experience by not driving it.

Exactly. Also, under-use is bad for a car. Oh, and your wheels are filthy considering you never use it!

Sorry for hi jacking this thread back i was parked up in Terminal 4 (LHR) car park and by the time i'd got back to the car there was a note on my winscreen from some guy who wanted to buy my car!! thing is its not even for sale  but atleast i know theres someone else out there who wants my 124 coupe

They are really nice cars and yours not bad either :D

My wheels go that colour after a short blast down the motorway

Lovely car, nice and original - Unless its showroom fresh (which judging by the pics it isn't), I'd stop fretting about miles and use the car whilst petrol is still freely available..

I bought my CE on 51k two years ago as the family car, now on 73k and running and looking better than when I bought it. They are such great cars to drive, its seems a waste not to use it. A couple of thousand miles a year on two or three trips a year is not going to kill it or its value, in 5 years it'll be on 36k which is hardly high mileage - everyone will think its been clocked anyway :D - and whilst its not going anywhere, all the perishable bits (bushes, hoses, wiring, screen rubbers and leather etc) are slowly and quietly deteriorating ..

Generally the older a car gets the less important mileage becomes compared to overall condition.

I have a 165,000 mile coupe but ALL of the suspension (front and rear including subframe mounts and diff mounts) are YOUNGER THAN YOURS in the convertible.

So, of course it rides like new.

Genuine parts with Mercedes invoices to prove for if I ever sell the car.

Car looks good

Forgive my ignorance but what is a BMW 325ci M3 coupe when its at home?

Vincenz - its a 325ci with the m3 exterior cladding.. looks the part with the economy of a 325ci.

nice exhaust rumble too.

that mileage is LOW; use her a bit, enjoy it as others have said.

Looks very nice..makes me want to go out and get one..again.
Thats not the original roof is it?

The Autotrader website is wonderful. There are 14 listed within 30 miles of chez moi. One day........
