Rear Pillar Trim (W209)

Hi All,

I have been removing a digital TV unit that didnt work correctly, I've managed to remove the airial from the front and the IR unit and the digital unit from the back, however I am stuck on how to remove the arial from the back of the car.

I have attached a picture of what I have, the wire on the left originally went behind the seatbelt into the boot, the wire on the right went around the rear window and into the roof lining.

Any help is appreciated,

Sorry Scott I can't be much help on "how to" but be careful as it looks like this trim houses the rear curtain airbag. There will be a procedure for removing this that involves disconnecting the battery so as not to cause the bag to go off.

Not difficult but follow the correct way..!

I was paranoid that the airbag would go off, so I have not tried anything yet. I'm very tempted to just cut the cable and pull it through, apparently you can buy a dvb-t module on ebay for about £50, so its probably not worth keeping to stick on ebay.
