Receiver now works

Recently i was only able to lock and unlock my C55 by using the remote key on the drivers door handle sensor. Strange, as i drove over a really bumpy road yesterday getting to a meeting, and when i parked up i pressed the remote and hey presto everything's back to normal. Hope its not a fluke but may have well been a loose connection. Strange cars these MB's.

Just had the same problem over the last couple of weeks!

I sat on the key accidentally and it worked again.

Just replaced the batteries which seem to have made a difference to but they were not that old... very odd the whole thing.

I have keyless go as well.

Local MB dealer wanted £450 to fix the problem - new receiver plus labour as they had to remove headlining. Really hope its carries on working and is not a loose connection.
