Recommendation of a MB dealer for service work, M4/M25/M1 area

Guys

Can anyone recommend a good MB dealer for service work in Berks/Bucks/Herts/Beds?

My car was supplied by MB Beaconsfield and I haven't been impressed with the service dept who looked at my car with its Stop/Start problem, which still remains.

A well organised and knowledgeable set is what I'm after!

I would strongly recommend Tony Purslow (Mercedes-Benz Basingstoke/Guildford). First class service from them every time. It is further than you are prepared to travel but the service that they offer makes it worthwhile.

Guys, thank you for a very fine recommendation indeed. My car had a fault with the stop-start system and the supplying dealers could not work it out.

On your advice I booking it into Tony Purslow Basingstoke. A bit of a trek out for me, but I wanted to do the job right.

They certainly did that, and then some. My car was booked in within a week and a loan car provided.
Jim in service is a gent, very professional, friendly and great at his job. Given stop-start is a newish introduction on MB cars he wisely did some research into the fault. A handful of cars have been reported to MB centrally as having similar symptoms. A sensor that is pinpointed as the problem was ordered in advance by Jim.

Car is now 100%, and the TP experience is everything that one would expect from a quality brand like MB.

Thank you chaps for the recommendation. I would highly recommend them also. No other dealer will see my car from this point on!

Glad you got it sorted. Hadn't seen your thread originally, I would have recommended Tony Purslow too. TP Basingstoke used to look after our car too (handy when I worked in Basingstoke).

Since moving we've used MB Heathrow & Slough. Heathrow are decent (they're a service only site) but TP are absolutely fantastic.
