Recommended after market brand of brake discs & pads

Well guys the saga of my brake discs continues. I thought everything was all good when I fitted them last weekend after you all answered my questions with your advice and suggestions. Unfortunately there are still questions hanging over this and I need your thoughts again. I'll try to make it as clear as I can and I'm sorry if it gets a bit long winded.
I took the car into my local Merc dealers yesterday for it's annual service (I've got a service plan). When it was finished the service guy told me the discs were non-original, obvious as they're Brembo. But more significantly he told me the technician said they were the wrong discs !! I said they must be right as they were matched against the Merc part number by GSF and that he box label states, 'C class T model S204 08/07-08/14', although doesn't specify car with sport pack, which is my car. So I assume they fit all C class estates between those dates. And the GSF site lists them as for car with sport pack anyway. So all correct there. He went back to speak to the technician, came back and told me then it's either the wrong discs or the wrong pads !! I pointed out to him that they ( the dealers) had fitted the pads within the last twelve months so how could they be wrong !! At that point he seemed to loose interest and gave me my paperwork.
I spent some time today doing a bit of research to verify the spec of the discs for my car. I went on all the sites selling them like Euro, GSF, Auto Doc, etc. They all had the same spec. The important bit for me was the diameter as I was wondering did I have discs that were maybe too big or too small ? But the diameter for all brands on all these sites for discs for my car is 295mm, which is the diameter of my Brembos !! So I am assuming everything is right with them.
When I listened to the commentary by the technician in the visual check video he actually says that he thinks the pads are wrong with no mention of the discs being wrong, contrary to what the service guy told me.
The technician did point out that the pads weren't contacting the whole area of the disc that they should, yet on the old discs it looks like they did. So this is another mystery now. I've included a pic here of that after three days wearScreenshot (352).png.
Any ideas why they wouldn't on the new but did on the old ones ??

AMG Sport - more concentration on fronts being holed !!

295mm front , 300mm rear , WTF...

344mm , justice can be done ...

So you didn't put new pads in when you changed the discs, are the Brembo pads slightly bigger to have a larger surface area or is ithe the fact that the old pads need to bed in more ?

I'd forget about ECP, Autodoc, GSf etc. for checking what parts you need, they usually list different options.

Easiest thing is check what was fitted from factory then uf going Brembo use the Brembo catalogue than go to one of above to buy.

What Brembo discs did you buy and what pads are fitted?
Post your reg or VIN and we can cross check these.

If it is the car in your profile picture:

Front discs:
A2044210912 replaced by
A2044212812 replaced by
A2044213612
All of these cross to Brembo 09.A613.51

Front pads
A0054201520 replaced by
A0064207120 replaced by
A0074209220
All of these cross to Brembo P50067

Exactly same parts I have here for a C class to fit tomorrow.

If you haven't changed the pads likely these have bedded into the old discs so will take some now to bed to the new ones.

Lots of different opinions but I always fit new pads when fitting new discs for this very reason.

As an aside to this if any of my cars were going into the dealers I'd only fit OEM.

I suspect the tech has spotted the unusual contact pattern caused by using used pads. I’d pop some fresh pads in.

I could supply you with discs and pads if needed to the same standard as Mercedes and provide a 24,000 mile warranty.
They're made in Europe too. Part of NK group who are Danish.
Have a Google search and you'll see how good NK are and they're coated the same as the factory disc by mercedes.
However, most mercedes discs are made by ATE (owned by continental). They also make the pads too.
However mercedes are also known to use TRW, Galfer and Textar over the years.

Pagid is worked by TMD Friction. However euro car parts has a deal where they can slip cheaper brand into a pagid box and sell them to you.
Only wiper blades and bulbs Euro car farts are good for

You can't take any of the factors' cross-references as gospel; they're invariably correct but not always, particularly if the manufacturer has used slightly different spec/size parts during the production run. I've experienced it with brake pads where a set of genuine ones eventually cured a very slight issue. There was approx 0.5mm difference in size of the back-plate from memory.

As has been said, good practice is to renew pads when replacing discs as the old pads wear to the wear pattern on the old disc. If it was me, first thing I'd do is replace the pads with new ones.
