I think the OP is referring to a Microsoft Money file, and wants to borrow a copy to use the repair facilities.

Think the question is ... if you don't have a copy of Money, why would you be trying to repair a Money file? I don't have a copy either, btw.

It not the copy of Microsoft Money I am after. Inside there is tool to salvage damaged mny files. It didn't work and the help screen points to another tool call "Recovery Money" marketed by a third party recovernic(??). There is a demo version of it mrdemo.exe and to buy it costs $145. Microsoft prints lot of money at the expense of us.

It for someone else whose laptop freezes when using Money and didn't backup it up for 4 months. So I told her it quicker and cheaper to reenter rather than spend $145 for Recovery Money tool that may not even fix the damaged mny file.
