Guys, can anyone recommend any spray or detergent which will be able to get rid of the marks below.
I don't want to use anything too strong as the cloth on the door is very thin.

Vanish stain remover (the pink foam can) i used it when i had oil all over the roof lining of my car.. it all clean now ; )

Brake cleaner is fine, works a treat and dries in minutes.

Try using 'wet-ones'; I reckon they might just do it. They also are great for marks on headinings.

Exactly the same problem I had on my CLK and still do if the kids aren't careful I use 303 Fabric cleaner from www.thepolishingcompany.com I use most of their products but the cleaner is excellent and a traial size is only £2.95 mine come up like new every time despite them being thin and delicate

Autoglym interior shampoo is pretty good also and not very strong either.

I used 'Stardrops', a great little now used household cleaner.
Cheap :D

i compare the price of a standard household carpet cleaner foamspray thing to the equivilant car interior foamspray thing and see that its less than half the price.... so i wonder whether they are any different.

i used household stuff on my carpets - came up new.

Leather cleaners and conditioners are the best for this. Hmm..mild detergent and coconut oil.
They are a con anyway as the leather is painted with plastic paint so the oils don't soak in. ;) :D

I use Simoniz Upholstery Cleaner available in 500ml aerosol. It is a 'dry-foam' product, gentle and effective. Around 4 pounds per can (from Wilkinsons).

Thanks guys, got this week off from work so when (and not if) the weather the gets good; the interior and exterior will be gettin a good clean.

We in the trade use something hard to find and very expensive..

It comes in a pink bottle and is called Vanish! the oxi action one is great and we use it for exactly the purpose you have pointed out.

I 2nd the brake cleaner trick i have used this many times to get grease and dirt of the insides of my cars.
