removing glass from CLK wing mirror

hi i have a W208 CLK.

how do you remove the glass in the wing mirror...? i want to replace the plastic shell of my mirror but cant get to the screws behind because of the glass

Tilt the mirror downwards, get a small screwdriver, use it to lift the spring retaining clip that is immediately behind the glass, at the very uppermost section of the mirror. When this clip is lifted, the mirror glass can be 'manouvered' free.

It's easier than it sounds.
