Does anyone know if it is possible (and how much it might cost if it is!) to retro fit genuine MB rear parking sensors to a S211? The other day I managed to run my rear bumper into a very low post! No real damage, but it made me realise this might be a good thing to have installed!

This had been discussed before. To retrofit a GENUINE MB parktronic system is expensive and will be well over £1K.
To fit a similar non-MB system will be less than half that and work just as well.
Do a forum search and read other threads on the subject.

The system that I bought from Halfords (4 sensors, led readout) cost £210 including having the sensors painted to match the rear bumper.

Price included mobile fitting service, who took 1/2 an hour.

It looks fine, works fine.

MIne was £30 off flea bay with sensors and display fitted myself.

Came pre colour coded and works a treat.

Not yet bumped anything in the bus and it looks genuine with the pod like display.
