Hi everyone, been offline for quite sometime now - back on and thought I would write a little update.
My car has just been returned to me after taking it back to Dentec in glasgow to have the front NS wing re done as there was some bubbling showing on the wing and you could see where the filler used had sunk!
When I went in with the car there were no quibbles about the facts of the work needing to be done - most likely because of the grief I gave them previously about their work! - the car was booked in and 3 days later was ready for pickup - they even dressed the tyres this time. The wing is now done properly.
I have also had a stainless steel exhaust from cat back fitted as every garage said they could only fit the origional mercedes item which came in at 560 + fittment + vat
So now the car is a little noisier but i dont care
For my new project i am looking for a NS Xenon headlight unit to match the drivers side (which i already have) am going to try and convert from auto levelling system to the standard system in my vehicle - i have already stripped one unit and can attach the control unit from my standard headlight for beam level but dont want to go the full way untill I have a passenger side xenon light unit.
If anyone has one lying around please pm me.
Also planning installing Bass Box and powering the rear 2 speakers through an amp - have the equipment - failing the time
Further mods include - dual cone induction kit; irridium spark plugs; LED indicators; and other LED lights.
