reversing camera on w219 coding

Hi

i have recently bought a 2006 cls and have noticed a reversing camera installed. When i select reverse nothing comes up. Can i check the comand coding to see if it is activated or can i check it some other way?

The car must have an NTG1 COMAND? It does not support any rear view camera at all. Perhaps the camera is connected to the TV tuner AUX port and you would need to activate TV AUX to get the camera view visible?

I have looked in boot and can see the wiring from camera going to a transmitter then shooting off through the car. The transmitter has a small led on which is not lit. I guess i will have to trace wiring first. How can i access comand to check settings? I understand its some aequence of key strokes?
