Ordered some brake parts Sunday evening for my SL from RockAuto in the states and they've been delivered this lunchtime. Quicker delivery than a lot of UK based parts suppliers!

I use them quite a bit (as you know ;)) and have nothing but praise for the service I get from them. One example which stands out was a speedo cable for the truck, ordered on a Sunday, here on the Wednesday. Impressive in itself but considering that the Sunday which I ordered it was Boxing Day last year, even more so.

I also have several fridge magnets from them as well. :D

I struck VERY lucky with them and a brand new, complete fuel metering head for an M104 300-24. About 200$.

And only last week a fuel hose for about half Europe price delivered to the door in 4 days by Pelican parts. Brilliant.

I've used them a lot in the past, along with Summit but haven't used them recently so though I'd praise them here for anyone thinking of using them. My first fridge magnet, pretty sure they didn't do them 15 or so years ago 😁

How many?
I have 18 and can't tell if that's a good thing - or not!
Not that many. 😂😂

Had around 10 or so but gave a few away to a couple over the road who's youngest lad is car mad. :)

Was buying from Summit way back (15 years?) too? Any time I look at Summit I can never find a ship to UK option.

Back to RA. Reading posts of difficulties obtaining parts from Europe, I often wonder why RA isn't used or at least considered.

Got a pair of headers and a floorpan section from Summit, no issues with shipping to the UK (obviously apart from the cost). I found them a lot better to deal with than JEGS who always managed to sneak an extra cost on somewhere down the line, usually payable to the freight company.

No magnets with Summit but plenty of Summit Racing Equipment stickers. :)

I used them around 10 years ago, but with the exchange rate and higher shipping costs these days I didn't think importing parts from the US was viable anymore ?

As with everything, depends on what you want. Total price worked out very well for me 😁

👍. Was Wondering which numbers others might have gotten from them.
My lowest number is 11, highest 278 with several in between.

There doesn't seem to be any logical pattern as far as I can make out though as, for example, I have a 63 Pontiac Bonneville, also a 66 though in different series numbers.

Got this one the other day. No.373
