I often use the Russian Parts site.
I've used it on-and-off for over 20 years.
Useful when 7zap is off - which is quite a lot.
The last few days - It has been unobtainable and the response seems to indicate that it has died.
Any information ?

Which site is it? Nemigaparts still seems to work.
Maybe the Russians switched it off in retaliation for Western sanctions: " If we can't have your aircraft parts then you're not getting our out of date ripped-off Mercedes EPC"

I've tried Nemigaparts.
Looks pretty good and works well.

All their spare parts have been grabbed to repair those broken russian tanks

I posted the other day . I have used it many times but when I tried to use it the other day my software blocked it .

I hope you're not supporting the Russian or Belarus economies.
I've already stopped buying Stoli; looks like I'll have to stop checking part numbers on Nemigaparts as well.
Edit:
I've since discovered that Stoli is actually made in Latvia.🙂

Doubt if you can import anything from Russia just now & rightly so🇺🇦🇬🇧

Not sure if the OP implied he bought stuff on the Russian site , just used it to find part numbers. Having said that my local Morrisons have only just run out of Russian Standard vodka after leaving it on sale despite Morrisons telling the world they were 'no longer selling it' .

More to the point people were actually still buying it !

I only ever used the Russian site for diagrams and part numbers.
I was unaware that you could use it to buy parts.
My main sources of parts are:
MB Newcastle
Euro Car Parts
Autodoc (occasionally)
MB Leeds (if I feel that my blood pressure will stand it)

Mercedes of course , could make such rogue sites redundant at a stroke by making their official EPC available online for a small registration fee and accompanying disclaimer. ;)
Now there's an idea....who do we write to?

The Official MB club used to offer Xentry access to the EPC- it was administered from Germany- and granting of access often took weeks to come through-don'tknow if they still offer this?

Turns out that the Russian vodka is actually made and bottled in the UK!

At risk of turning this into a vodka thread, I thought Russian Standard was still made in St Petersburg. Certainly a lot of the supermarket own brands are brewed in the UK. Even JJ Whitley, who moved all their "Artisanal Vodka" production to St Petersburg have shifted it all back to Chorley.

Exactly this. Even Official MB club members struggle to get access. A deliberate ploy on the part of MB?

It's useful and interesting in a nerdy sort of way 🥸 to be able to look these things up, but I still always quote my VIN number when I buy online (eg. MB Newcastle eBay store)
