Well, back from our Russian winter holiday! NEVER seen so much snow! This year it was blizzard after blizzard! But, the little Nissan on it's winter tyres coped very well, with only one spin, which luckily was on an empty road! Impressive 360, landing up on snow drift, which with the aid of a rope and passing Gazelle van, ended up OK!!

Just have a couple of photos, one of a Belarusian S211 on it's winter wheels, a lovely little cafe in the forest, and my Nissan in the snow! Was a great trip!

Vladimir, 200km east of Moscow.

Here's one of the many 190 taxis I saw! :)

And my favourite photo of the "елка" or Christmas Tree, in the main square in Vladimir... lovely! :)

Really like the way the crowd barrier is co-ordinated with the tree base.

A trip round Russia from the comfort of my own home.

Spasibo balshoye. Hope that means -big thanks - I'm trusting google here.

In Russian, спасибо большое! But, yes, you were correct! :)

Big tour in the summer coming - road trip to some northern places we've not been to before.. :) Which reminds me, SWMBO is off to Kazakhstan (please, no Borat jokes!!) next week for a fascinating interpreting project - I'll get her to send me some interesting photos to share with all! :)
