Hi

I need to buy four new tyres for my s-class, the car will cover about 2000 miles a year.

I don't really want to spend £800 on premium tyres, but won't go budget either.

Although the tyres are not huge at 236/60/16's, the fact that so few passenger cars use them these means most on the market are H rated tyres designed for smaller 4x4 like the Toyota Rav 4 or the Ford Kuga.

After trawling various websites and speaking with my local specialist it s coming down to Kuhmo or Fulda.

The Fulda's are not that popular in the UK, but are in mainland Europe and review quite well, does anyone have any experience of them?

Thanks

Tan

I usually replace any non-performance car tyres with Kumhos, I think they're a great alternative to the market leaders.

I used Kumho on our A8 they were a great tyre

Currently on the CLK which does slightly more mileage than your S I have Tigar Seneris they are made on the Michelin plant in Europe and the are brilliant quiet and great grip in wet or dry
