My rear window got broken, I'm not a happy chappy. And that's before I sliced up my fingers trying to clear up the broken glass without scratching the paintwork...
My first thoughts turned to Autoglass, who must do this, but I'm sure they aren't going to be anywhere near cheap. Are there any other places who might be cheaper that are likely to be in the Scarborough area?
Does the (fully comp) insurance cover the rear window, or just the front windscreen? Or do I need to trawl through the police document to find out?
If it does cover it, has anyone had to claim for glass damage before, did it alter your future premiums? If possible I'd rather stay clear of the insurance route (assuming that's an option) as claims always seem a bad thing, but how much am I looking at to get it repaired - I've really no idea what sort of figures they are.
