i've been getting around 43-45 mpg on a tank, and all of a sudden i'm now getting around 37!

i always thought the 45 was a bit low (i took into account the fact it's an auto, but even so with my previous w203 manual i was getting close to 60mpg) but now i'm worried that i can't crack 38...

it's a little overdue for it's B service, is there anything else i should be looking for other than the filters that are due to be checked/replaced

I would say a good service may sort it out.

Also what is you engine temperature doing? Make sure its running around 80-90 degrees and not taking an age to get there, a jammed thermostat can cause poor economy.

i'm going to give it a good service. the maf seems fine.

so i need

air filter
fuel filter
oil filter

oil (mobil 1 i know, but what oil exactly do i need?)

am i missing anything that needs to be changed?

have you done the service? any improvement?

Changed the air filter and was an improvement, just waiting on some decent weather to change the oil and fuel filters
