s211 traffic off!

I've read the manual, pressed the appropriate buttons and confirmed COMAND says TA off yet still I get irrelevant traffic announcements.
How do I switch it off once and for all.
Please!

If the button label says "TA Off" it means by pressing the button you will turn TA off.

The label is intent not status, in my experience of COMAND softkeys...

You need the label to read TA On (eg, if you press it again it will be on).
