That seller doesn't even know what he's selling!

It's a prefacelift S55 AMG - which means no 508bhp. It's the naturally aspirated 5.5 M113 V8 with around 354bhp.
This means the 0-60 is not less than 5 seconds, but just 5.5 secs, IIRC.

Still a bargin at that price, though!

There was a relatively low mileage (well under 100k, might have been 60-80k from memory?) one of these for sale recently in London. It was immaculate, owned by a private gentleman in Cheslea, full MB history etc and was only about £8k!

Hell of a car for the money, but I wouldn't like to know the running costs when things start to go wrong!

Aye, look @ the pic of the rear seats, you can see most of the runners for the front seat. The seller must be "petite" or too young to drive it.

In the Q&A bit, says its a year 2000. Maybe he had hoovered the rear and didn't put the front seat back? Or is it too conventional?

If I wanted one, that would be the deal maker! I had electric rear seats in the S320, was a very nice feature, but they were not individual seats like these.
Fully adjustable, memory rear seats. 4 seats with the highest levels of luxury, massaging, heated and cooled too.

That's what I would love too, I have the electric memory rear seats but individual rear seats are class.
