That's your opinion, but we all know your a bmw fan, lol.

Yes it is but no I'm not or I wouldn't have a CLK

the e92 m3 is not superior in everyway, how did you come up with that conclusion?

Based on what I want out of a car so it is personal I agree

C63 Looks nicer, feels better quality than the M3, and also quicker from 0-60 or should I say it's quicker from 0 till it hits the limiter, not to mention it sounds alot better!

I agree witht he above but the C63 is only faster in a straight line not around a track or twisty b roads

All the M3 has over the c63 is it handles better round the track!

Agreed

Comparing an M5 to a C63 is not exactly fair. Compare the new E 63 with the M5.

Again I agree, not done the ring in a E63 yet but have driven one and my choice would still be the M5

why are you driving a poxy auto then? go buy a manual bmw and be happy.:p

corrected below :thumb:

The M5 has the same gearbox as the m6, to me all these bmw smg gearbox's are crap and trying to be ferrari like but it's cool just wanna be's but never gonna be!

You just have to know how to set them up which most people dont

I was talking about standard and not tuning companys, Hartge M5? lets not bring the brabus rocket or brabus bullit into this please.. ;)

Is AMG not a tuning company? or was before MB bought it?

EDIT; sorry you don't drive a "poxy" auto I just looked at your car and it's a "poxy" manual from what I can see. :D

I know the above is light hearted and I actually agree with most of it as you can see but what really grates me is you cant get a Manual performance MB which is why I don't drive one.

Was driving a Porsche Cayenne on Tuesday with a standard 6 speed floor shift box and it was awesome much better than the tiptronic sh*t normally fitted. Thats also the beauty of BMW you can special order any of the cars with a manual box thats why I have had my fair share of them.

I also agree with one of the other posts for impression and class then yes I would rather drop someone off at the dorchester in an E class than a 5 series.

The new 5 looks like a fat 3 series and the least said about the E the better, think I will stick with the XF.

one reason why i would give mercedes the vote is statistically, their depreciation is slower, and BMW have really been messing around with their pricing discounts, that their values dont hold any credible value...

From memory E60 5-series held onto their values quite a lot better than W211 E-Classes.

The F10 I think may cost more than the E60 it replaces.

Its about £150 more model-for-model from what I remember, but it now has full leather as standard (not fake leather or cloth) and a 'professional' stereo, as well as power and economy improvements.

Stumpy1, have you checked your tyre pressures? New cars are often delivered with over inflated tyres.
