Hi All.

I've been meaning to get around to using the forum and if its anything like the MG forum it will be great to get to chat too you all. MG was the first toy car that was a 160TF which over three years I modified it for performance and style and loved that little car BUT the dame car would not stay together every journey was an adventure in the end enough was enough and I had to say good bye.

I stumbled across a 2001 SLK 320 in black with only 32,000 on it. took it for a ride and although the car was nothing like my old little go kart is was every thing the MG could never be. Well built, reliable, comfortable and i found myself not looking for police all the time as the car gave me a karmer that I had not experienced before. So a year passed and all was well so I thought, the better half had plans of her own and was continuously pointing out the car only had two seats and the family could not travel. but that was the whole point of the car. Story shortened we needed something more suitable to tow the caravan with so instead of changing the family Zafira I looked around and Just by chance a car court my eye. 2003 MB E500 60,000 very well maintained fully loaded even with active cruse, So went to take a look and was totally sold on it.
I have had the car for three months and it brings me a big smile every time I get in it. I'm now at the stage of wanting to play with it a little. two things on the list is the drivers door keyless handle is not working so looking on how to sort this.
Secondly I would like to get hold of a copy of STAR for the laptop any assistance in these areas would be greatly appreciated. well ta-tar for now.:D

Very nice introduction; welcome to the forum.

Welcome to MBClub.

A 5.0 V8 is just the ticket for towing - we have a few caravanners on MBClub :thumb:
