Air con never worked properly - tends to blow hot when set to cold. He just suggested turning the vents off. Remote locking also never worked although to be fair it was not in the description - i.e. it didn't claim to have working remote locking.
You obviously accepted his suggestion.
Did you try to get him to fix it "properly"?
The reason I am asking is to see if his 3 months warranty is worth the paper it is written on. As I say, I may end up buying from him and would like to see if the high prices are justified.

I did contact him again expressing disappointment in his response - along the lines that buyers may as well save 50% and buy elsewhere if the car isn't going to be working properly. He suggested I discuss it with his garage. Although by the time I got to see his (very nice and helpful garage) people the wipers and windows had stopped working but the air con was running OK - it is an intermittant problem. So they fixed the wipers and windows - just a fuse issue. Of course you'll need to make your own decision but I think I would save several thousand £s and buy elsewhere.
Thanks.
If you pay premium money, you expect premium service and 100% peace of mind.
Some businesses may save a bit of hassel by brushing off a customer. But, other customers who hear about it will then be thinking twice before paying them their premium.

I had that with a bloke once who was selling an 8 series. I asked about the sunroof. "No, does not work so I did not list in the advert since as far as I am concerned, it does not have a sunroof".
Yes, whatever.
If the car was sold with Option X or feature Y, then it has it and the expectation is that, unless stated otherwise, it works.
