Don't worry, this is not a question, just an experience.

My W203 C180 Coupe has been developing a lumpy idle at times, just a barely noticeable shudder every 10 seconds maybe. But it was not something I could live with..

I considered Redex (as i've used in all my previous cars), but after reading a few peoples comments about MB's opinion on the matter I decided on a tank of VPOW£R. It took 10 minutes of driving to sort the problem!

Previously I was using Esso fuel from a Tesco garage. Maybe my car dislikes the taste..

Hahaha indeed!

This isn't just petrol, this is M+S North Sea petrol, produced from the freshest reservoirs off the coast of Scotland.. :dk:

Yup V-Power has cleaning agents (and a 'friction reducer') - it's not just higher octane.

Tesco Momentum 99 is cheaper and has the same octane. An 'Italian tune-up' may also help.

Yes give it some beans a garage owning friend from years ago was often seen thrashing pensioners cars around they loved him (the owners that is).

I was told by an engineer at a Ford main garage not to use supermarket fuel if I wanted my car' engine to run sweet. It is not so much as to what they put in the fuel but what they leave out regarding additives to make the car's engine run clean.

I use Shell V power in my E320 cab and premium diesel in my Mondeo and both run without any problems.
