anyone tell me where i can buy shiny door pins in the uk, also does anyone know what the part numbers are for the chrome dust caps from mb the ones which cover the valve to.

Valve caps

Re the valve caps what ever you do, do not use the alli pins, they are the opposite to brass on the voltage scale and they will quickly corrode making them impossible to remove, the brass Nickel/chrome plated are OK

The door pins are A 000 994 06 11.

These fit, amongst others, A, B, and C Classes; R170/171 SLK's. They seem to be a standard fit for most MB's except the SL which are rectangular if I am not mistaken.

They cost pence btw :D

The genuine valve caps are about 45p each new from the dealers and the genuine chrome pins are about 80p each from the dealers

Hard to say as I've not been in an ML lately. If yours presently has the round plastic ones then I would say more than likely ''yes''.

Let me see if I have a piccie.

Portzy.

EDIT. Nope, sorry I've deleted it. They are literally only a few pence though.

Hi guys - now I have shiny tax disc holder, I think I need shiny door pins - do the same ones fit my W211? And are they a screw in screw out or will the mechanism drop into the door with the pin removed??

which doorpins are these, does anyone have a pic?

if they fi c class etc then will fit ML too..

I've lost the piccie that I had but they are exactly like the plastic black standard issue ones except these are chromed and they are also smooth, no grippy/knobbly bits of milling at the top. Piece of cake to change ;)

Pt No A 000 994 06 11.
