SL 230 oil light

Hi, having just done a motorway trip i noticed that the oil warning
lights kept coming on intermittently indicating that the engine oil contents
were overfull, having checked the oil before and after the trip
it indicated that the oil level was as it should be.
Could anyone tell me if they have experienced this before
and if so what the cause was and what action needs to
be taken.

This has happened to me too. Search for the "oil overfilled" thread where I received a reply from I think sspeed who had the answer. Good luck.
