SL R129 1993 facelift...?

I expect like some of the other bits (eg wheels) it's been retrofitted.

Dont understand why you would fit facelift wings..? makes no sense....

... is this a factory AMG version..?

Nope, That bodykit didn't even come out until 1996. It's missing the air scoops from the front bumper (they're ~£400 a pair).
One owner? Presumably in the UK. How many in Germany, or wherever?
Low mileage but no history?

Way too much money for a LHD 1993 car.

It's had various external parts changed to make it look like a later car i.e.
  • front wing vent panels
  • clear front indicators
  • clear side repeaters
  • rear light clusters (these are actually 1999 facelift ones)
These are all easily swapped.

Note, it's badged as an SL55

I can only think the cars been accident damaged at some point and fitted with facelift vent panels and other bits mentioned by Bill OR as LHD car could be from Germany originally and had the facelift upgrades changed by some mad german enthusiast, i just dont see the sense in trying to make it look like a facelift.....i agree £10k way over priced....will be on sale for a long time at that price...!

As above, I'm pretty sure the plastic vent panels (3 slots to 2 slots) are easily changed on their own ... nothing to do with the wings.

AMG side skirts would be worth a few bob.....
