SL55 - airbox improvements etc.

Thinking of going with something like a Renntech or Carbonio airbox and intake tubes on my SL55 as every little helps as they say. It would also look rather good too, but that's not really the point obviously.

Having trouble finding what's available in the UK as nearly all I read about them are on MBWorld and US based. Not really wanting to import bits form the US as have learned in the past when something goes wrong it's a whole world of pain.

So anyone got any experience of this sort of mod and what the options are?

I have just imported the full stainless steal intake from the states.
It did take a while but I'm very happy with them.
I'm pretty sure most authorised dealers on here can help you out in sourcing either the carbon or stainless intakes.

one of Acid at MSL suppliers is Fabtech, depending on your location this may help.

If you want to purchase from someone in the UK then there are at least 3 options

MSL can supply the Fabtech or Carbonio ones
PCS are a Renttech dealer
Eurocharged supply the Carbonio

Thanks for the replies. That has given me some options and I think purchasing from a Uk company is a good idea.

Will have a look at Fabtech as that sounds very interesting.
