Am I the only one who finds it a bit weird that the car has apparently only done 8,000 miles?

:) I wonder what folks will think of the mileage on our Sprinter when we eventually sell it.

I am sure the vehicle will have servicing documentation, and it is this that will justify the mileage.

On a personal note I do not like to see a mileage that is extremely low as it signifies that the vehicle has not been used very much and this in itself can cause a whole host of problems unless the vehicle has been thoroughly maintained and moved regularly.

Hi All..
Thanks for all the feedback..
I am so torn..
I initially had my mind set on a 911 (993) Turbo, or carrera 4 cabriolet..
Always wanted a 993 911...
The turbo deal I had fell through, and then the SL60 appeared..After researching, I discovered how awesome the SL60 is ...
I know they are completely different....BUT..what to do ???
I need to make a decision now...as I may miss the SL60 opportunity..This purchase needs to last for a few years...
Which do you think will hold it's value for the future ?

that is very tough. I had exactly the same dilemma a few months ago when my first SL60 was stolen.
I have always wanted a 911 and thought I might take the plunge with either a 993 or early 996.
I drove both (C2 tip cabs) and found that neither were as quick as the SL60. I didn't want a manual car. Clearly the 911 doesn't offer the same level of comfort as an SL60.
The 993's cabin in particular is very very bare and completely out-dated. As much as I love the 993 and 996 shape, they were simply not practical enough for me - no room for golf clubs!!!
In terms of depn, I think the 993 will hold its value better than a comparably priced 996. But the SL60 also seems to hold its value pretty well (far better than a new car of a similar value), and the 129 overall will, hopefully, come to be seen as a good value "semi-classic" car over the next few years.

So after considering the 911 I chose to buy another SL60. I don't regret my choice at all although deep in my heart in know that one day I will NEED to buy a 911, if only to get it out of my system....

Hi Lewis,
Your asking this question on a Mercedes-Benz forum, but my advice would be to hang on and go for the car of your dreams.

I personally would buy that SL in the blink of an eye, but in your situation this is not the car you have always wanted.

Good luck with the decision
John
