R171 or R172?

In my experience the R172 'box isn't as quick shifting as the MCT 'box in the E63, but it's not 1 or 2 seconds slow.

It should be pretty instantaneous in manual mode but 1 second delay is normal in automatic mode. 2 seconds sounds a bit slow. Have you had gearbox oil changed in the last few years?
