Slr @ pcs

Is it just me (or the photos) but does that interior not look a bit cheap and tacky for the cost of the car?

Just an opinion, no need to hunt me down.

Edit :

Also in picture 1, from that angle does it remind anyone else of a hamsters face if you hold onto it too tight while it climbs around your hand?

Again, just an opinopn...

Out of interest, which Supercar has an interior worthy of the price?

Fruitshoot and baby wipes. Just like the back of our ML!!

Also, look at pic 3. The indicator stalk is minging! I think as far as SLR's go, this is quite a shabby example going from those pictures. Still nice though.

Nice car yes, but not a Supercar in this context. They are too cheap and not bespoke enough.
Surely the SLR is classed as a Hypercar by today's standards.

FWIW, you seen the interior of the Aston Martin 77?

Hypercar maybe yes. Supercar seems to slip quite far down the food chain these days. That Aston is certainly bespoke but again, the same argument applies. Is it worthy of 1M +? The Veyron interior is quite humdrum by comparison though.

Phew still alive and 3 point star still on my bonnet after my last post!

I think I just had a wee accident (pardon the pun) when I saw TPWUK's post. Something of a Clarkson style Crisis!

How much is one of those?
This week I shall buy an extra lottery ticket!

Rashman, I completely agree, the wheel is terrible, the one you posted is far superior.

After looking at the pictures again, I can't take my eyes of the fake aluminium looking centre console (please tell me that's plastic and not just a really bad job), it's a catastrophe and as for the seats, yeuch!

Give me that aston interior any day, infact, just give me the aston with a few spare batteries and i'll be as happy as a dog with two, em, lipsticks?

Its quite scary that in this picture it looks like there is no brake pedal...that must be an option then.

Beautiful car and I must say I like the fact that this car is driven and enjoyed, rather than turned into a museum piece.

I agree. These cars bring a lot of pleasure to a lot of people who see them out and about and I feel it is the duty of all Supercar owners to share them.
