Smallish GTG at MBWorld?

The weatherman didn't say it going to be sunny. I remember reading dry but cloudy or else I would have pick up the end exhaust pipe from Grav888:cool:

My first meet and it was nice to put some faces to the names.

Met some nice friendly people today :):):)

Great day out:)

Some nice looking cars there today-Sorry I didn't speak with anyone, but I'm the shy forum member:( and my friend's kid wanted to press all the buttons on the cars inside MB World:D The red SL parked next to me was very nice and shiny-Mr Wobbly's, I presume? :bannana:

Several :bannana: s apiece to Will for the idea in the first place and Carnut for having the carpark reservation made for us. It was busy at Brooklands, so to have everyone parked in the same area was a real bonus. Thanks to all - it was a pleasure to meet you and see your (very nice) cars.

Cheers

Rich

Many thanks Bill for the photo's. It was good to meet old and new faces, thanks Will for organizing it and especially those who traveled so far.

Yep, good to see so many people turning out, both new and old :)

Weather could have been a lot worse, at least it didn't rain, wasn't freezing cold and we even had some sunshine

Many thanks to carnut, the cones for parking were a great bonus, made things much easier.

Hope everyone had a good run home.

Great photos Bill

See you all again soon :)

Will

Nice to meet everyone - and thanks to Will for a great location.
Some old faces, but mainly new to me and that was another real bonus.

After 2 long hectic days followed by an all day enjoyable meet, I just want to relax now! Tomorrow I am sure I'll be wondering where the weekend went :)

Got back in at 7.15.

Not a bad run!

Took 3 hours exactly to get back in.

Knackered today but it was worth it.

I've been in the car for about 6 hours today.

It was good to put faces to names.

There was a good bunch today - and loads of nice cars!

Can't wait for the next one!

Regards to all,

KJ

p.s. Has malcolm got home yet?

thank you again for fixing it up., a good day:):)

Many thanks to all who made today happen, a great day out for me, and my little lad had a great time ( although now an SLR is top of his 17th birthday wish list  ).

Lovely to meet everyone and no doubt over the coming weeks will start to match names to forum IDs!/Cars.

As mentioned to a few of you, had a lovely moment whilst queing to get into the car park, when the suited Gentlemen from Mercedes enquired as to whether I was there for the Motorcycle event. On hearing I was in fact there to meet with the Mercedes Club, he said "But of course Sir,(Sir! - I kid you not) you may proceed over the rounabout and your reserved parking is on the left!". I could get used to treatment like this!, I never received anything like it in my Mitsubishi's or Mazda's!.

Cheers
Simon
