Smell of Fuel in the cabin

Hi there

A few weeks ago, I could smell fuel, which I presume was coming from the air vents, although it was just slightly. NB. The fan is off. Over the weekend I changed the pollen filter.

Unfortunately, now I can smell fuel even more. The smell is more pronounced after I have been accelerating. Although, I am not sure if its something I am smelling from the car in front or if it is coming from my engine bay. I have popped the hood open and can't smell any fuel or see any leaks.

Any one know where would be the first place to start diagnosing this?
