Thought I'd revive this old thread and see what you guys are up to this weekend :)

I finally managed to pick up the Coupe

Cleaned and cleaned. Never have I bought a car so dirty where the seller has made so little effort....

Took the old girl for an italian tune up on the A20 just before taking her for her MoT - which she passed with no advisory's!! Happy Days.

Ordered bits (enhancements ) for Evil Twin 2, fitted radio (well Aandy did, cheers :thumb:) Changed Pioneer front speakers for Blaupunkt ones. Considered a subwoofer bit I will leave that for next time.

How come you didn't use the Rainbows......??

What size Blaupunkt ones Ian? I assume 10 or 13 cm, in which case, how did they fit?

(Doing some hifi work at pres - more to follow)

I took my W124 for a run down to Hampshire, stopping at Heston's Service Station (also known as the Little Chef at Popham, having been given a menu and makeover by Heston Blumenthal - acceptable Hake and Chips), bought some boar and middlewhite pork at Laverstoke, before hitting the Berry Bros Bin End shop in Hampshire to buy even more wine.

My reorganisation of iTunes and elimination of music I don't listen to made the music side better, but some serious hi-fi upgrading on the cards.

Fitted the Luxury Climate Control worked and tried the CLC Audio 20 but could not connect wires to exiting mic
